Integrating IBM Cognos Controller and IBM Cognos Financial Statement Reporting with iXBRL
XBRL as a language has been under development for a number of years, the pace of this has accelerated significantly both internationally and particularly in the UK primarily because HMRC and Companies House have mandated that Corporation Tax accounts and computations will be filed using iXBRL format (inline Extensible Business Reporting Language) for any returns due after 31 March 2011.
